Similarities and differences between Soccer and American Football

There are two kinds of sports that I love to play. They are very famous around the world, but they are famous in different countries. They are soccer and American football. Soccer is an aggressive game, and American Football is too. Also, if players want to win, they have to play with strength. Are you a strong fan of one of these sports? Do you know what the biggest differences and similarities between them are? If you don’t know what they are, you should begin to investigate about them because it is a foremost thing that the biggest fans should know. Soccer and American Football have differences, but also have some similarities.

First of all, there are some similarities between these kinds of sports. One of them is that players in both sports have to be in excellent physical condition. They also have to warm up before a game. In American football if you want to make a touch down, the plays have to be so fast, so players have to be in excellent shape. On the other hand, in a soccer game if you want to make a goal, you also have to run fast. There are many people playing, so you have to make fast plays like in American Football. Also, if you want to make an individual goal, you have to be a player that not only has to run fast. You also have to have intelligence to make a great goal. As you know, Soccer and American Football are so famous around the world. Soccer is famous in Europe and American Football is famous in The United States, but why are they famous in those places? As you can see, Soccer is famous in Europe because it is the continent where the most famous championships around the world such as the UEFA CUP, THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE, BARCKLAYS LEAGUE PREMIERE, THE BUNDES LIGUE, THE SERIE A, THE LEAGUE OF THE STARS, and THE FRANCE LEAGUE take place. In contrast, the most famous American Football Championship around the world is the NFL which takes place in The United States. The last similarity between these two sports is that players earn a lot of money. A Soccer player can earn as much as an American Football player because in the stadiums where these games take place assist many people and that is why the players earn a lot.

Also, there are some differences between these two sports. The first one and the biggest difference are the kinds of rules that they have. In Soccer you can’t touch the ball with your hand. However, in American Football you have to play with the ball in your hand because it is the way that you are going to play with your team to make a touch down. In a Soccer game, when you make a goal, it is only a point. When you make a touch down in an American Football game, it is seven points. Also, you have another opportunity to increase your team score. Another big difference between them is the kind of uniforms that they wear in their games. American Football players have to wear big T-Shirts because they have to use some protection inside of them .This game is aggressive, so they have to protect their body. On the other hand, in a Soccer game you only have to wear a little T-Shirt with a short. Soccer players wear this kind of uniform because it is so comfortable for them .They can run so fast, and it is one of the most important things that they have to do if they want to win the game. The last difference is that they have different sponsors. In American Football, there are a few sponsors. The most famous are NIKE, ADIDAS and UMBRO. Also, the teams almost always have only one sponsor. On the other hand, Soccer teams have many sponsors which are the most famous around the world. They are B-WIN, SIEMENS, PIRELLI, NIKE, ADIDAS, UMBRO, CARLSBERGER, PUMA and so on. Of course the Soccer teams not only have one sponsor. I can give you an example that is Real Madrid. This is the most famous Soccer team around the world, and this team has too many sponsors which are B-WIN, NIKE, ADIDAS, SIEMENS, COCA COLA, UMBRO, and HEINEKEN. This is only an example, so I think that you can imagine the amount of Soccer sponsors that are around the whole world.

In conclusion, Soccer and American Football are two different sports that are famous around the world. The have some differences and some similarities. If you are a strong fan of one of these sports, you should know what their own histories are and how your favorite team has been one of the most famous around the world for many years. In my opinion, the people who pay more attention at these kinds of sports are teenagers because one day they want to become one player who is going to be famous and important around the world. I prefer to play Soccer because it is more interesting. Players have to be very intelligent to make a goal that is not too easy. Also, I live in Nicaragua, and the sport that teenagers play the most is soccer. If we want to play American Football, we need to have all the things that are necessaries which are the protection, the field and so on. Since we don’t have these things, we don’t play American Football. If you want to play a wonderful game, Soccer is your best choice believe me.
